Boyracer

Boyracer is a long-evolving indie pop band centered around the restless and often jittery songwriting of bandleader Stewart Anderson. Noisier and more aggressive than most of their Sarah Records contemporaries, Boyracer charged through their most active period in the 1990s and then receded into a state of semi-dormancy in the late 2000s. Songs and albums came less frequently but strong records like 2004's Happenstance still surfaced every so often. In 2020, the band broke from a 12-year hiatus with their 13th studio full-length, On a Promise, and wasted no time returning to their well-established prolific state with 2021's Assuaged and 2024's Seaside Riot.
