Peter von Poehl

Swedish composer, director, and singer/songwriter Peter von Poehl began his music career as the guitarist for A.S. Dragon, onetime backing band for French composer Bertrand Burgalat. The child of a Swedish mother and German father, the gifted author and arranger relocated to Berlin in 2004, but continues to record in his native Sweden. His lush debut, featuring the singles "The Story of the Impossible" and album namesake "Going to Where the Tea Trees Are," was released in May 2006. ~ James Christopher Monger
