Marika Papagika

Papagika was perhaps the most important performer to bring Greek music to America. Born at the beginning of the 20th centrury on the Greek island of Kos, she emigrated to America in 1918, where she pursued a sucessful recording career together with her husband, Kostas. ~ Leon Jackson
