Andrea Lindsay

Compared to the likes of Vanessa Paradis and Petula Clark, Ontario chanteuse Andrea Lindsay first came to attention as one half of early-2000s English-language Canadian duo Tuesday 5 alongside Jennifer Bacchet. After their split, she was compelled to sing in French in her solo career, and following her 2006 debut LP, La Belle Etoile. She won a Juno Award for Francophone Album of the Year with her 2009 sophomore effort Les Sentinelles Dormant. ~ Jon O'Brien
