David Mott

Born in Hinsdale, Illinois, David Mott studied composition at Hope College, Berklee College of Music and Yale University. His primary teachers were John Bavicchi, William Maloof, Robert Morris and James Drew. His work is strongly influenced by world music and jazz; he has received numerous awards for his composition in large and small forms. ~ Philip Krumm
