Turbostaat

Formed in 1999, Turbostaat is a punk band based out of Flensburg, Germany. With a sound that merges driving, anxious rhythms with flowing guitar runs, the German quintet made its debut in 2001 with Flamingo. A second album, Schwan, would arrive in 2003, followed by 2007's Vormann Leiss and 2010's Das Island Manöver. Turbostaat's fifth album, Stadt der Angst, appeared in 2013.
