The rich synth tones, processed guitars and frenetic electronic rhythms of Modem fit in perfectly with the retro-future aesthetic of modern pop working its hardest to fit in with the sounds of the ‘80s. The big difference, of course, is that the pair are recording entirely in their native Finnish language.
