In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember performing Bob Marley and Micheal Jackson songs with my school. As young as 6 years of age. I loved the stage from them times. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Uprising Remastered Boogie Down Productions, Criminal Minded (Deluxe) Stevie Wonder, Innervisions Remastered BDP was one of the few rap groups our parents let us rock with. Uprising is part of the soundtrack to my youth, growing up in a young Rasta family in 1980’s BK. The depth of Stevie Wonders Lyrics and music have always been amazing to me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “All I Know (Paper Chase)” This song came together perfectly. From making the beat to writing the lyrics, it felt really good. Children showed me this song was a hit, they loved it first requesting it and singing along to the chorus. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting and making music with “The Suns” (formerly “The Boys”). I loved their music growing up and meeting them and learning about music production (they taught us how to use our MPC 3000) and making some great music with them, was a dream come true. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much, I haven’t even gotten started. I’m excited for what’s to come.
