Solven Whistlers

One of the best and most popular pennywhistle groups from South Africa. They used the kwele technique of playing a flute at an angle to produce a thicker sound, but combined this indigenous innovation with a variety of jazz harmonies and virtuoso improvisations to elevate their sound. ~ Leon Jackson
