DJ Shadow descendent ElekTro4 -- a New York-based producer apparently named Mike, who was born in 1976 -- grew up a fan of hip-hop and began producing his own tracks in the late '90s. After a small clutch of singles, he teamed with DJ Signify for Keystroke One, a full-length album released by Bully in mid-2005. ~ Andy Kellman
