Musicians of the Old Post Road

Musicians of the Old Post Road has earned two Noah Greenberg Awards from the American Musicological Society by dedicating its period-instrument chamber ensemble to resurrecting forgotten Baroque works, culminating in the group's first release on its own label, "Into the Light," featuring world premiere recordings of neglected compositions by Christoph Graupner. Musicians of the Old Post Road was founded in 1989 by flutist Suzanne Stumpf and cellist Daniel Ryan as an ensemble dedicated to performing music from the Baroque through early Romantic eras.
