About Molaré
Soumahoro Mauryféré (better known as Molare) is one of the founding members of the Jet Set, a crew of artists and influencers who were at the fore of the Ivory Coast's coupé-décalé movement in the early 2000s. Emerging in 2003, Molare helped establish the genre, both a sound and a lifestyle, in France alongside fellow Ivorian expats like Douk Saga, Boro Sanguy, and Lino Versace, most notably on the singles "Sagacité" and "On Est Ensemble." He continued to be a prominent figure in the scene over the next two decades, operating multiple lucrative businesses and releasing a slew of acclaimed albums like 2008's Ca Va Se Savoir and 2012's Autre Dimension, and chart-topping singles such as 2014's "Allons Seulement" and 2019's "Descend un Peu." ~ James Christopher Monger
