Tuija Hakkila

The repertory of pianist Tuija Hakkila extends from Bach to contemporary works. She performs on the fortepiano as well as on a modern piano. Hakkila is also an important educator. She has recorded many works by Mozart and Beethoven, and her recording catalog also features music by composer Kaija Saariaho; in 2025, she released the album Kaija Saariaho: Touches - Complete Works for Piano and Harpsichord.
