In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I desired so much to write melodies like the great classical composers of old, so I trained, studied, and prayed a lot. Those years were pivotal in shaping who I am today, and I am simply grateful for the opportunity to share my music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Winston, December Jim Brickman, The Essential Jim Brickman Yiruma, Best of Yiruma Even though I loved classical music, it was albums like these that helped me discover the crossover from writing classical music to contemporary piano music. These artists, as well as many others inspired me to create the music I write today. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Childs Play” Childs Play is all 3 of my kid's personalities intertwined into 3 different melodies throughout the song. It always brings a smile to my face thinking about all the wonderful memories, and hearing their personalities come alive through the music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2023, I won Whisperings Album of the Year for my album Beyond the Horizon. It was definitely a highlight of my year, and such a great experience winning an award for something I love to do, create music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to work more on movie scoring and creating emotional music for the screen. Currently, I am working mostly in the studio, but I would love to find more opportunities to play live and get out to meet fans and those passionate about music.
