Allan Clayton

After several major awards and honors, tenor Allan Clayton emerged as a major star on the British operatic scene in the late 2010s. He has a large repertoire of both opera and art song, stretching from Mozart to Benjamin Britten. Clayton has appeared with such companies as the Komische Oper in Berlin and the Royal Opera Covent Garden in London. He has a vigorous schedule of recitals with a variety of accompanists, including Graham Johnson, Julius Drake, and Malcolm Martineau. In 2026, he was the featured tenor on the release Hans Zender: Schubert's Winterreise – A Composed Interpretation, appearing alongside the Aurora Orchestra.
