Christophe Schweizer

Swiss trombonist Christophe Schweizer made his name as a band leader, working with groups like 5SIX7 and Normal Garden. Also a member of several other groups (including the Mingus Big Band,) his reputation spread internationally, opening the door for international concerts and several appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival. As a solo artist, he usually depends on the bands he leads to help him with projects like 2002's Physique, where he was backed by Normal Garden. ~ Bradley Torreano
