Frank Zander

German musician, actor, and television personality Frank Zander is well known in Germany and is often recognized for his biting humor. Born in Berlin in 1942, he first gained success as a member of the pop group Gloomy Moon Singers. By the 1970s, he had gone solo and released a handful of albums, including some under the alias Fred Sunshine. In subsequent years, Zander has continued to release albums, often in a comedic novelty pop style, as well as host television shows. ~ Matt Collar
