Jürgen Bruns

Co-founder and conductor of the Kammersymphonie Berlin, Jürgen Bruns specializes in music of the first half of the 20th century. He also programs contemporary music and has led more than 80 world premieres. Bruns began his career as a violinist. He has a substantial recording catalog that includes a cycle of the symphonies of Austrian composer Karl Ignaz Weigl; his recording of Weigl's Symphony No. 3 in B flat major appeared in 2025.
