The Lovely Sparrows

Austin indie folk collective the Lovely Sparrows formed in 2004 around longtime friends and collaborators Shawn Jones and Jason Cooper, whose live lineups range from one to seven people. Following the 7" Take Your Hats Off, You Godless Bastards, they released the EP Pulling Up Floors, Pouring on (New) Paint through Abandoned Love Records in October 2006. The EP includes contributions from vocalist Lauren Steinburg and drummer/keyboardist Earl Vallery. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
