In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was singing in the kids’ choir at church in front of my family and friends. That moment stuck with me because it was the first time I saw how powerful performing could be. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint (Deluxe Edition) Smino, NOIR Noir because Smino showed me how to bend flows and melodies in a way that feels playful but still deep. The Pinkprint made me realize Nicki’s pen game and pushed me to sharpen mine. Kendrick taught me how to make my music feel cinematic and lived-in. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Live performance, live performance, live performance! I wanna get on stage so bad and really connect with people in that moment. Outside of that, it’s about growing my audience and eventually working with some of the greats I look up to.
