About Michael Bor
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is watching my father edit documentaries: the same scene felt different when the music changed. That’s when I learned sound can tell a story—and why I still write cinematic songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 2014 Remaster M83, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming Michael Jackson, Thriller These albums shaped my taste for melody, groove, and cinema. Thriller is my benchmark for hooks and arrangement; Goodbye Yellow Brick Road proves songwriting can be timeless; M83 showed me how to build film-like atmosphere. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Space Mantra” I love my track Space Mantra. I wrote it as a journey of the mind through the universe—everything is connected, down to atoms and vibrations. I released three versions to show how an idea can live in different genres, depending on the mood and energy What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was seeing my first release go live on Apple Music. After years of writing privately, it felt unreal to type my name and find my own song in the catalog. That’s when music became more than a hobby for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to sit in a theater, hear my theme open a film I scored, and watch the credits roll. And I want to write pop toplines for other artists—turning real stories into hooks that stick.
