In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2017, I won the South Soca Monarch at Skinner Park on my first attempt and Trinidad and Tobago’s Next Superstar in the same year. These moments solidified my passion for music and my commitment to sharing the vibrant energy of Caribbean culture. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alkaline, New Level Unlocked Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Kes, We Home I chose Kes "We Home" for its Caribbean pride and timeless vibes, Alkaline "New Level Unlocked" for its bold innovation and storytelling, and Drake "Nothing Was the Same" for its relatable introspection and genre-blending brilliance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the South Soca Monarch at Skinner Park in 2017. It was my first time competing, and the crowd’s energy was electric. That victory, along with winning Trinidad and Tobago’s Next Superstar, marked a dream year for me! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to take soca music to new global heights, collaborating with artists from different genres and cultures. Performing at major international festivals and representing Trinidad and Tobago on the world stage is still a dream I’m working toward.
