About Kaleb Salas
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in 2021, I had started playing guitar... I did NOT know what I was doing, learning my first song, unbelievably, Master of Puppets by Metallica. From this s****y mistake, I somehow found a love for the instrument, excelling pretty quickly, What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Polyphia, Muse Polyphia, The Most Hated - EP Polyphia— 'sepcially Scottie LePage and Tim Henson inspire the hell outta me. They are my IDOLS. However, J. Cole keeps me sane after messing up technical bitchery in my practices and for my upcoming recordings. His shit hits different. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “wings in the wind” This is a collab with my friend Nate, or... Toko. The collab was really just FL Studio yolo, but it became a lo-fi track that I posted just to listen for myself, seeing how my skills start and improve. I have prog rock demos ready that reflect this.. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting my first stream. It wasn't much, literally 1 at the time, but f**k yeah did that feel good. Gave me a feeling of ecstasy, which by the way, I'm writing a Polyphia-ish track reflecting that emotion. That's how good it felt. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Honestly, I just want to get some attention and maybe some money... Additionally, I plan to use my guitar more in my songs since as of now I focus primarily on midi. I can't be called a technical guitarist while only using it for ambience.
