In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been a performer since I could stand on two legs. I used to be obsessed with singing alongside live performances of Miley Cyrus & Taylor Swift, copying their mannerisms & strutting around the house. You seriously couldn't drag me off a stage. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alessi Rose, Voyeur Lizzy McAlpine, Older (and Wiser) Olivia Rodrigo, GUTS GUTS has been a vital guide in my exploration of fun, girl-rage pop music (which is the best kind). Voyeur is a truly perfect EP, confessional in a way that I relate to deeply. Older is a genuine masterpiece of storytelling and musical composition. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “paris” I wrote "paris" about a year into learning how to be a songwriter. It was the first time I'd created something that made me sit back and think, "Maybe I really can be an artist", and as soon as I recorded the demo, I knew I wanted it to be my debut. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first day that I was in the studio for "paris", I remember sitting on the couch and listening to the electric guitar we'd added for the first time. All I could think was that I had to figure out a way to make music forever; it was so formative. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to tour more than anything, whether that be by opening for an artist I love or headlining my own shows! Playing KOKO London specifically would be an absolute dream.
