In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 10 when I sang lead in my very first band! Wearing sparkles, shaking a tambourine, & singing my heart out with a band of other 10-year-olds. We’d spent weeks rehearsing, & standing on that festival stage with my friends, I was over the moon. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Francesca Battistelli, My Paper Heart (Bonus Track Version) Bonus Track Version Jervis Campbell, good grief! NEEDTOBREATHE, The Outsiders (Deluxe Version) The Outsiders taught me how faith & grit can sound anthemic. Good grief! showed how me to not view grief as an enemy but as something God can use. Tell us why you chose this song. “clarity.” I wrote "clarity." when was lost in overthinking, asking to hear God’s voice clearly through the muddled mess of my emotions and mind. God met me where I was, and recording it felt like exhaling after holding my breath for a long time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was when a mentor asked me “Take away your voice, who are you?” That reshaped everything, my identity isn’t in my talent but in who God says I am, & that my voice exists to carry His message, not my own. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To tell every single girl/boy I meet about their father in heaven who loves them SO MUCH & designed them perfectly.
