In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing is one of my earliest memories - it made me naturally high. On piano I made my own arrangements, never tired of doing that. Guitar makes me feel like an entirely different musician than singing or playing piano. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980) Joni Mitchell has very profound lyrics ... makes one think! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You and I” What makes is special? The lyrics are very genuine and authentic. The opening rhythm and saxophone make one feel good right from the start. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was in the Walmart parking lot when one of my fans approached me; told me she broke up with her boyfriend over the weekend. So she played my album Memories Linger, listened to I Wish It Wasn't Over (over and over again) until she felt better! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Started piano at four; guitar at 10; first complete song 17; first album recorded in 1989; still at it and helping others achieve their dreams as well.
