In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ella and Louis Classics Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Lumineers, Cleopatra (Deluxe Edition) These are three albums I feel very connected to for both spiritual and emotional reasons. I also greatly admire them musically. They're very different but each embodies and captures a certain ineffable quality that keeps me coming back over and over. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Open” Open is the first single of my project Bush Lotus. This song was a moment of release brought on by the vast blue of the prairie sky breaking in through the senses and pulling me from my mind. It became music after it was first put into words. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Tinge as our band debut to a sold out show at the Handsome Daughter (Winnipeg, MB) was pretty incredible. I never thought we'd be playing to a sea of faces like that. I was so nervous while playing, but for weeks after felt light as air. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Keep playing together, get some more gigs, record some stuff and maybe tour and play some festivals!
