In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I lived in a household where you either skated, danced or did self defence with good music. When I heard Ain't Nuttin But A G Thang, I started mimicking rap voices and repeating some lines. Around 11, I started writing rhymes as a form of expression. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? MC Solaar, Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo Snoop Dogg, Doggystyle Tracy Chapman, New Beginning I could pick more than 3 albums for sure. I think as artists, they define consistency, longevity and stardom for over 3 decades. These albums had a big influence on me growing up, shaping the music I want to make and the topics I choose to evoke. So much banter and laughter during the studio recording, there is a great balance of energy and it reflects on real life situations. I think being in love shouldn't be used as a plaster to hide your fear of self discovery and exploring your curiosity
