Jorge Rivera-Herrans

Jorge "Jay" Rivera-Herrans is a Puerto Rican composer, lyricist, and playwright known for creating EPIC: The Musical, which is inspired both by Homer's Odyssey and modern video games. Since releasing the first part of his ambitious saga to social media in 2021, Rivera-Herrans has risen to viral fame with a vibrant fan base supporting each subsequent release. Over a period of several years, he cast, orchestrated, and released the various parts of EPIC online, including 2024's The Circe Saga and The Wisdom Saga, two of several that topped the Billboard Cast Albums chart before EPIC's conclusion in 2025.
