In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I joined school band as a percussionist when I was in year 3, and in my first concert I played the triangle. I managed to drop it mid performance and everything I've ever done in music since then has been trying to prove I'm better than that now. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chappell Roan, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess Lola Young, This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway Mura Masa, R.Y.C Everything about these 3 albums is immaculate. It uses weird sounds I haven't heard before, with beautifully honest pop writing, while still subverting expectations. They represent everything I like in music, and everything I want to be as an artist.
