In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Already practicing drums several hours per day, I took my drum teacher Rob to my 1st concert: Rush at the Hartford Civic Center. We got backstage after the show, & I got to meet Neil Peart when I was just 15. Later he wrote me a 6 page letter. Epic. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Catch A Fire (Remastered 2013) Remastered Bonus Track Version John Lennon, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band Joni Mitchell, Hejira Hejira's poetic wanderlust captivates from the 1st note. Forever inspiring. Lennon's 1st solo album includes "Mother" & "God." This album is devoid of fear and embodies pure artistic freedom. Marley's Catch A Fire changed the world forever. Respect. Away from all the noise and the pointed words, just some strangers passing by. I wrote this simultaneously in love and in distress, watching people in love floating up in the air What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hanging out with Dave Matthews in the private backroom of an Irish Pub in Midtown NYC after his VH1 show (I think), long ago. Dave was speaking with authority on the Yugoslav Wars, surrounded by other musicians. Awesome though he wouldn't remember me Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Push my own envelope as an artist. Speak truth to power. Be a voice for the voiceless. Carpe Diem every day. Abandon doubt and move through fear, which leads to exhilaration. Know peace. Spread peace. Release 50-100 singles by the time I die. Love.
