Santa Chiara, the musical project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Chiara D’Anzieri, has an improbable backstory that spans two continents and a steady handle on catchy, guitar-driven rock with garage and surf influences. By 2023, she’d self-produced and amassed enough material to release an album, Imported, on Kill Rock Stars.
