In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 10 or 11, I wanted to play drums-but I didn’t have a kit, so I built one myself. I don’t remember all the parts I used, but my ‘cymbal’ was a wicker lampshade I stripped down, leaving just the metal rings to rattle when struck. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boston, Boston Faith No More, The Real Thing TOOL, Ænima These albums each represent something different that I find intriguing or as an inspiration. I don't really have all-time favorites, but I do have a lot of albums that I would consider for the list, not just those. Tell us why you chose this song. “How Charming” The layering came together nicely on this song, and the recording process was a lot of fun. Hearing from a listener who connected with it made it even more rewarding. The fact that the song resonates with people is both exciting and humbling. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's a recent moment. It was when I found out that one of my songs was being used in counseling sessions for addiction and anger management and clients have responded well to it. To me, that is the greatest compliment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've had to recalibrate my goals over the years due to circumstances. Now, the only thing left is to leave a legacy that I can be proud of. My initial career was cut short, but music is giving me another chance to make a mark, however small it is.
