In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting in Mr. Tucker's World History class my freshman year of high-school. I was writing songs and humming tunes in my head the whole period. Yes, I failed World History then but as an adult, I love World History. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Continuum Kanye West, The College Dropout Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life I think all of these albums represent different phases of my life. Stevie Wonder played on the 8 track player inside of my father's 79 Cadillac, while we drove on the expressway back up north. Just a kid but I was in love with that album after that. Tell us why you chose this song. “Reconcile” The reason I love this song is because I will never forget the process I went through to finish writing it. The lyrics took me two months to finish. "Reconcile" life & death, the lyrics are words I wanted to leave behind for my seeds to remember me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recall singing in my Messmer High School choir, and we were singing for a WE Energies event. The person that they had chosen to honor was Coretta Scott-King. It is not a professional experience, but it is an experience that shaped my career a lot. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have SO many... 2 many 2 count... I would love to get to perform with John Mayer some day...
