In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I experimented with looping samples on GarageBand, and creating very poppy little instrumentals, because I did not own any instruments or had any real knowledge of music. I was also obsessed with perfecting my stage presence before anything else. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Car Seat Headrest, Twin Fantasy Duster, Stratosphere All three have some overall theme that makes it a completely cohesive project, no matter how disconnected the tracks might be lyrically. They just provide some overwhelming comfort with their own textures, lyrics and vocals. I can't really explain. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wallflower” It's just a very danceable song in my opinion. I don't really make stuff thinking about how it could be performed live, but I knew from the start it would be much fun to play live. It was written right after I watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having incredible doubts about pursuing music any further. I've spent sleepless nights thinking about what if what I'm doing is just a giant mistake and I'll never get far. I feel like that's an important and unpreventable part of being a musician. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? 1. To put out at least 8-10 albums 2. Go on a tour at least once or twice 3. To open for any of my favorite artists/bands 4. Invent or revitalize a genre
