Mostro

In the Italian hip-hop scene, the work of Mostro has turned heads for going far afield of conventional sounds within the genre. His flowing delivery -- sometimes languid and introspective, other times fast-paced and precise -- is often paired with moody, electronic musical backing, consistently created and produced by collaborators he’s been working with since he first started making music. It’s all paid off, with streams of tracks like “E Fumo Ancora,” “Supereroi falitti,” and “Tutto passa” commanding tens of millions of streams apiece; 2017's Ogni maledetto giorno, his second studio album, topped the country’s chart.
