CAVS

When not working with the intensely prolific Australian cult heroes King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard -- which he's done since 2010 -- drummer Michael Cavanagh records and releases music under the name CAVS. His 2021 debut under that name was an arresting rhythmic affair that consisted solely of rhythm tracks, while 2026's Sojourn recalled the mystic jazz bandleader works of Billy Cobham and Tony Williams.
