About Stephen King

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Having detention for disrupting music class with friends in grade school and writing something along those lines repeatedly on the chalkboard of woe & weal... What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Roger Waters, Amused to Death The Police, Synchronicity (Remastered 2003) Van Halen, 1984 Remastered The depth of this work by Rogers & Jeff Beck is timeless, to my mind. It moves me to no end. 1984 is the apex of rock & roll guitar from the era! It was the inspiration behind my need to play. My first Walkman was a universe created by chaos music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Feverish Dream (Ode to Gord) [Remix]” This song is of art, hope and rebirth which takes you on a journey across Canada, often by wits' end. Dedication and time seem to come together in this gem recorded in a hostel during pandemic isolation. I know the potential is passion realized, now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to record my song "Hard to Hold" live-off-the floor in Bryan Adams Warehouse, Studio One in Vancouver, while working with some of the best local musicians I know along with special guest artist Brownman Ali on Trumpet was a dream realized. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! I would love to work with a producer, record a duet with Kacey Musgraves, play festival stages from: New Orleans to NS, Montreal Jazz Festival, SXSW, Glastonbury, Paris to NYC! Work on a musical/operetta & score a feature film...in 2025.
