In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory would probably be playing instruments and singing in choirs back in school. My journey in music began playing instruments, specifically the trumpet and sax. With time, I gravitated towards the songwriting side of things. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bas, Too High To Riot Drake, Views J Hus, Big Conspiracy Too High To Riot literally saved my life, took me through depression really. Big Conspiracy is just amazing, can't really say much else. Views is a blueprint for hip-hop, from the production and songwriting to the performance and delivery, unmatched. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “SOON (feat. Njeri)” This was the first time I really allowed myself to be vulnerable on a song. I wrote it at a time when I had so much self doubt in mind as a reminder to myself to always believe in me. It also taught me so much about myself as an independent artist.
