Simon Emmerson

Simon Emmerson is a leading composer of electroacoustic music, or music that applies electronics to manipulate acoustic sound. He is also, as the author of many books and articles, an authority in the field. Emmerson is also an important educator. Several albums of his music have appeared, including Sound Around - Both near and far at once (2025).
