Rony Ajnali

Lyricist-composer Rony Ajnali has quietly powered some of Punjabi music’s biggest party hits, collaborating with stars including Yo Yo Honey Singh, Guru Randhawa, Ammy Virk and Prince Narula. Rooted in Punjabi traditions such as bhangra, Ajnali began writing lyrics at a young age and forged a creative partnership with fellow lyricist Gill Machhrai, with whom he co-wrote songs such as “Todh” (for Prince Narula & Munawar Faruqui in 2022) and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s breakthrough 2023 single “Kalaastar”. Ajnali next contributed tracks on Honey 3.0 and Ammy Virk’s Layers in the same year. By 2025, his writing catalogue included such hits as “Sirra” and “TABAHI” with Guru Randhawa, and he made his Bollywood debut with the song “Perfect” (from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari) alongside Randhawa.
