In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember singing a song by the stylistics called “You Are Everything” to my grandma and she cried. I remember, I felt bad because I thought I hurt her feelings but she told me she was crying happy tears. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bryson Tiller, T R A P S O U L Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Mali Music, Mali Is... GKMC: I think it is beautifully written, executed and a perfect representation of lyricism and intellectual expression. Mali is: pushed the ceiling of Gospel music and showed there’s no limit or box. TS: broke barriers from the normal RnB format. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “What Men Do” This song is special to me because my Grandma helped me write it. Not physically but in spirit, she’s always with me. I needed inspiration so I looked at a picture of her and this song came. I know this song is timeless and will always be a gem.
