As a very small kid I remember sitting one night with my mother in a dark South London pub, the smell of warm beer thick in the smokey air, and the beautiful sound of my father playing double bass in an New Orleans style Jazz band. Tell us why you chose this song. “Darkling Wood” When I finished this song I knew I'd found my sound, my voice as an artist. It served as a signpost pointing the way on my musical journey. I feel its also the perfect distillation of all my musical influences!
