BOY SODA

A singer, songwriter, and producer whose inspirations include the likes of Anderson .Paak, Frank Ocean, and Childish Gambino, Brae Luafalealo records inviting and progressive R&B under the name Boy Soda. The Sydney-based musician made his independent commercial debut in 2019, and within two years landed a deal with Warner Music Australia. He worked at a deliberate pace, releasing both his first EP (The Distance Between Thinking and Feeling) and first mixtape (YC-Tape: Vol. 1) before he crafted the album Soulstar, issued in 2025. The set contained Luafalealo's breakthrough single, the soulful and lively ballad "Lil' Obsession."
