Chicago Black Swans

A fairly anonymous group of uptown hokum singers and players from Chicago's Depression-era blues scene, the Chicago Black Swans may or may not have included blues icon Big Bill Broonzy, who may or may not have written the group's two risqué 1937 sides, "Don't Tear My Clothes" and "You Drink Too Much." ~ Steve Leggett
