In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In kindergarten, I often used pencils as improvised drumsticks, pretending to play the drums at my desk. While I disrupted the class—much to my teacher’s frustration—it was an early sign of the musical passion that would stay with me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Strait, The Road Less Traveled Lynyrd Skynyrd, Street Survivors Post Malone, beerbongs & bentleys These 3 albums represent my identity as an artist and songwriter. From Lynyrd Skynyrd’s powerful rock guitar tones, to Post Malone’s catchy melodies, to George Strait’s timeless country sound, each record has played a role in shaping me as an artist. Tell us why you chose this song. “Run From You” This has been one of my favorite songs that I've written, because it’s something that’s real and relatable, and I believe everyone has experienced this at one point in their life. I hope this song can resonate with others like it has with me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring across the country and hearing audiences sing my songs back to me has been one of the most defining and memorable experiences of my young career. It’s a moment I never take for granted and a reminder of why I do what I do. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope to one day perform at the Grand Ole Opry and the Houston Rodeo. While these goals sit further down my long-term bucket list, achieving them would be a true dream come true.
