Young Chris

Veteran rapper Young Chris is known for nimble, highly energized bars and his gruff North Philadelphia perspective. Chris emerged in the early 2000s as the mock-whispering half of Young Gunz, whose debut single "Can't Stop Won't Stop" (2003) was nominated for a Grammy just before their debut Roc-A-Fella album nearly topped the Billboard 200. After a second Young Gunz album, Chris quickly became a prolific solo artist with roughly 20 projects independently issued from 2007 through the mid-2020s. These releases ranged from Killadelphia: More Bodies Than Days (2007) to the Dave East collaboration Fine Dining (2025).
