In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember going to a flea market as a child with my dad and grandfather and seeing an electric guitar for the first time. It was beautiful. From that moment I was always curious about getting one of my own one day to play and here we are today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beach Fossils, Clash the Truth Good Morning, A Vessel / Radiovoice - Single Mac DeMarco, Salad Days This was hard, but easy at the same time. These three records are really pivotal to what inspires the sounds and textures I love to emulate in the "Lakewater Rock" sound. Especially Salad Days being my favorite record of all time. Tell us why you chose this song. “Indigo” I picked this song because it really represents what the Lakewater Rock sound is and one of my most captivating songs I feel I've written. It's definitely one of those "in the moment" songs where every part of it came together just right. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think one of the most memorable moments in my career for me would be winning the "Best Rock Male" category in 2022 for the Carolina Music Awards. Was very honoring and inspiring to continue doing what i love.
