In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad worked for a company that owned a record label and artist agency as well as a musical instrument store. When I was 6, back in 1984, he took me to work and I remember spending the whole day in the store falling in love with all the instruments. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers Madness, One Step Beyond... Sublime, Sublime They take me back to the time and place where I grew up, by the beach in the surf scene listening to ska, reggae, punk and rock. Tell us why you chose this song. “You Are My Best Friend” After a couple of years of going through the pain of losing my son I wrote this song as a tribute to the people who stood by my side and helped me. The pain will never go away but they helped me find a brighter mood and keep going. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for NOFX in 2008 was by far the most memorable moment. Next is opening for Pepper who were a lot of fun to hang out with and last but not least is the friendships I've made because of music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to play outside of my home country. Would love to play in Europe because every time we play and there are foreigners in the crowd they always enjoy what we do and come talk to us after the gigs.
