With his 2024 single "Wine into Whiskey," Tucker Wetmore unveiled his distinctly modern country persona, falling halfway between Jason Aldean's brooding ballads and Morgan Wallen's hedonism. A Country Airplay hit, the song paved the way for his 2025 debut album, What Not To. He followed later that year with the non-album single "Proving Me Right."
